What Is the WordPress Business Directory Template?

The WordPress Business Directory Template is a pre-configured TableCrafter setup that creates a searchable, filterable business listing on your WordPress site in under 15 minutes. It ships with six pre-mapped columns — Name, Category, Phone, Email, Website, and City — connected to a Gravity Forms source, so you can launch a local business directory, service provider listing, member registry, or vendor catalog without building the table structure from scratch.

The template is particularly useful for chamber of commerce sites, nonprofit member directories, regional service finder pages, and franchise location listings. Visitors can search by name or filter by category and city. Each row shows the business contact details directly in the table, with Phone and Email rendered as clickable links for mobile visitors. What Columns Does This Template Include?

How Do I Create a Table from This Template?

This step is required before the table can render data. Skipping it or entering incorrect values will result in a connection error when the table first loads. Double-check the value by pasting it directly into the field rather than typing it manually to avoid whitespace or encoding issues.

This configuration interacts with any caching or CDN layer active on your WordPress installation. If you use WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or a CDN such as Cloudflare, flush the page cache after making this change to ensure the updated configuration is reflected in the cached HTML served to visitors.
